Reading at Briar Hill

The importance of asking questions while your child is reading

When we hear children read in school alongside their phonic skills we also support their comprehension skills. This video will show examples of possible questions to help you with conversations about your child’s reading. On the Year 2 class pages you will find a complete list of examples. They are not intended to be used all at once.
